Thank you for checking out our videos page. I hope you enjoy these videos I have posted. I hope you can learn something to help you have success with your dog. I have videos on here from my training mentors as well as from myself. Some of the videos below are from Ty Brown with Ty The Dog Guy, Sean O’ Shea with The Good Dog and Jeff Gellman with Solid K9 Training. I have plenty videos on my YouTube page.

Intro Video

Sit

This is a video of how to teach your dog to sit with the prong collar. When I teach sit, it is "sit" and implied "stay." Once you have sit going well. Use sit in the place, before eating for food, etc. Use lots of reps to get this going well and they can learn this quick. Remember that the dog can not be released until you release the dog. If the dog just gets up when he wants that is a trick. Workable obedience is when the dog stays in command until released from the command.

Waiting Proper For Food

This is a respect issue and an excellent training moment for leadership exercises. Look for the calm and respectful moment and have your dog looking at you and than release your dog to eat.

Down

This how we teach down with the prong collar. It is downward collar pressure. It is slight pressure - pressure on, pressure off.

Potty Training

This is my buddy Ty Brown and this is a great video of his house training formula. Here are 4 steps to stop your dog from going to the bathroom in the house. It does not matter if you have a puppy or a 5-year-old dog. Follow these 4 steps and you will have success!

Walking On A Leash

I use this method for any dog that likes to pull. I got this name from my friend Ty Brown – he calls this The Crazy Man Method. This is all about getting your dog to learn to focus and walk properly with you. It does not take days and weeks to get your dog to walk proper with you. These are the beginning stages to get your dog to walk proper and get him to focus on you. This is a huge leadership exercise as well. People always say – my dog needs a job. Well this is their job: learn to walk polite and focus on me.

Seperation Anxiety

This is a 13-step process to fix separation anxiety. This is Jeff Gellman with Solid K9 Training. I have enjoyed meeting him and learning from his methods.
